Multiply 934 by 6 , 4 multiplied by 6 = 24
The 2 is carried over to the tens column
The 4 is placed in the units column , 3 multiplied by 6 = 18
Add the 2 that was carried over so the answer becomes 20
The 2 is carried over to the hundreds column
The zero is placed in the tens column, 9 multiplied by 6 = 54
Add the 2 that was carried over so the answer becomes 56
The 5 is carried over to the thousands column
The 6 is placed in the hundreds column
934 multiplied by 6 = 5604

Layout the sum in with a hundreds column, a tens column and a units column., Starting with the unit’s column.
8 + 5 = 13 carry the 1 to the tens columns and place the 3 in the units column.
9+6+1 = 16 carry 1 to the hundreds column and place the 6 in the tens column.
9+4+1 = 14 carry 1 to the thousands column and place the 4 in the hundreds column.

998 + 465 = 1463

Layout the sum in with a hundreds column, a tens column and a units column.
Starting with the units column.
2 minus 2 = 0
4 minus 6 you cannot do because you will have a negative number,  so you borrow a 1 from the next column,  so the 9 in the hundreds column becomes 8  and place the 1 next to the 4 so the number is now 14
14 minus 6 = 8
Now working on the hundreds column
8 minus 2 = 6  942 – 262 = 680
